I hereby agree to hire a musical instrument as specified on the Hire Agreement and made available by Keyed Up Hire (KUpH), on the terms and conditions listed below:
I AGREE
1. To make punctual payment of all scheduled fees.
2. To maintain the musical instrument in good working order and to return it
in the same condition as when leased to me.
3. That the musical instrument remains the property of KUpH.
4. Not to sell or offer for sale, assign, pledge, lend or otherwise deal with the
musical instrument.
5. To notify KUpH immediately of a change of address.
6. That I am responsible for any loss or damage incurred to the musical
instrument whilst in my possession, including fire, theft, burglary, accidental
damage or damage caused by negligence.
7. That KUpH will be notified within 48 hours of any loss or damage to the
instrument.
8. That I will pay KUpH for the cost of any repairs deemed necessary as a
result of loss or damage incurred. Should the instrument be deemed
unrepairable by KUpH, I will provide payment for the total value of the
instrument.
9. That I will not attempt to repair or adjust the musical instrument myself.
10. That KUpH will carry out routine maintenance on the instrument where it
deems necessary due to normal use of the instrument to keep the instrument in
normal playing order. This does not include replacement of consumable items
(ie strings). What is normal use is determined by KUpH.
11. That if I breach any of these terms and conditions, KUpH may at any time,
without notice, recover the instrument and any monies owing and terminate
this agreement.*
12. That KUpH will refund the security deposit at the termination of the
agreement if it deems that the instrument is in the same condition as the
beginning of the agreement, apart from normal wear and tear.
13. The instrument is to be returned to the office of Keyed Up Music at 1/204
Balcatta Road, Balcatta when no longer needed.
